The bliss of doing nothing

I keep telling myself that I would be productive, tomorrow. Thus I go about wasting more water, food and money; adding more to debts, waste and noise. 

This is a biased view but university undergraduates need to learn how to “stop and stare” once in a while. Sure, that amazing 4k internship adds to resume, experience, paying off debts and networks. Sure, it is enviable to cab everywhere and not to limit what you can eat to those few cents of savings. But there will never be a time again to live off parents, be spontaneous, celebrate friendships, sleep, drink, eat and make merry as much as your last summer holiday.

And the choice becomes so damn easy.

 

P.S. For all those people who think that I cannot bum two months away, HA! I can do one year if cash was no object.  

P.P.S. Costless/Low cost entertainment are aplenty. And it helps to be thickskinned with generous friends who are willing to feed you.
